Out of all my performances, I don't think I've ever felt as loved and supported as I did during this show. This marked my third time performing in LA since I moved here in June, and the turnout was amazing. The space was filled to standing room only and the audience had a contagious energy that fueled me during the show. I also had the pleasure of singing with my very talented friend (and bad-ass guitar player), Ryan Smith. We first performed as the opening act for Macklemore in March of last year…who would have known that one year later we'd be taking the stage together on the famous Sunset Blvd! I truly couldn't have asked for a better night or better company and I can't wait until the next show; when I'll be singing with a full band LIVE on the main stage! <3
Here are some snapshots from my cameo on "The X Factor" Finale episode! Unfortunately they only aired a few seconds of my audition for Paulina, Demi, and Simon. But it was still such an exciting and fun experience! I auditioned in Los Angeles, and I advanced past four rounds - making it to the Top 50 girls in the nation. You can watch my interview on "The X Factor" YouTube channel at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TZLeI9HgRSM
I got invited to perform at this show by JM West Live; a company that works to promote fresh new talent in Los Angeles. This was my first time at the Roxy, and it was such a blast! The stage, sound, and crowd were all amazing & I can't wait to have another chance to perform there. The younger girls in the crowd were dancin' and rockin' out to "The Afterparty," and it made my night! I live for moments when I see that my music moves others.
This marked my third time performing at this legendary venue! This show was very special to me because my fans, friends, and family from all over Southern Cali came out to watch :) To top it off, I also had the pleasure of performing with one of my closest friends, Michael Dashefsky. He is a ridiculously talented musician & performer himself! This night was one of my most memorable shows in LA so far, just because of the great energy and the crowd response. Can't wait to do it again <3
Every month, the APSS group at Loyola Marymount hosts a showcase called "Chasing Dreams," and a special guest is chosen to perform and speak. I was lucky enough to be invited as their special guest for the month of September! I sang acoustic versions of my original music along with some of my favorite cover songs. The venue was very intimate and the audience was great! I especially enjoyed the interview afterwords, when I had the opportunity to talk about my inspirations, experiences, and plans for the future. My biggest goal is to inspire others and motivate them to fight for their dreams! xoxo
This show marked my first official performance as a Los Angeles resident! That's right. I finally made the big move to the nation's largest music hub. I must say, this show served as a huge learning experience for me. I had a full hour to myself, and I filled the time with my original music as well as a few of my favorite cover songs. The size of the venue was more intimate than I'm used to, but it was great because it gave me a chance to connect with my audience on a deeper level. I also had a few of my friends drive up from San Diego to see my show! A big thanks to those of you who came out :) After my first official show in LA, I will stand by the old saying that LA is one tough city. That. it. is.
But I say, BRING IT ON! This may have been my first show out here, but I can assure you it won't be my last! Stay posted for more show dates and announcements.

Performing for a packed stadium is something that I had always dreamed of while growing up. Every time I watched an anthem performer, I told myself that someday it would be me...And sure enough, that day finally came. It was honestly such an amazing feeling to be singing for 30,000 people! I thought I would be nervous, but my adrenaline and pure excitement took over during the song, and I enjoyed every second.
On top of that, it was truly an honor to perform the National Anthem for the military presence in San Diego. Seeing the veterans and their families made me feel so proud and blessed to be living in this country. The theme of the night was also "Filipino Cultural Night" - a night to the celebrate the Filipino-American community coming together <3 Here are my favorite snapshots from the game!
This was my first time headlining at the Open Air Theatre along with the two YouTube sensations, "Lil Crazed" and "Us". This event was put together by the Asian Pacific Student Alliance at San Diego State University in order to celebrate the Asian American talent in Southern California.
This show also marked a few firsts for me - I got my own dressing room (SCORE!) and I also signed autographs for the first time! I was beyond humbled and flattered when people started to approach me after the show. As a performer, it is the BEST feeling to know that I touched someone and made an impact through my music. I want to continue to touch people through lyrics and melodies because "people will forget what you said, forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel."
This was hands-down one of the most exciting experiences EVER! The SDSU Open Air Theatre was packed full with 7,000 screaming college students, and the energy in the venue was unreal. I honestly have no words to describe the adrenaline rush when I stepped on to that stage. Let's just say afterwords, I cried. It's experiences like this that I live for!!
I had the honor of opening for Macklemore with the very talented Ryan Smith (guitar), Brandon Pierce (vocals), Matt Filppi (bass), Jose Rodriguez (electric guitar), and Billy Petty (drums).
The "Dance for a Cure" show was nothing short of spectacular. There was so much talent performing that night, and I was very happy to be a part of it all! 100% of the proceeds made from the show were donated to the John's Hopkin's University Childhood Cancer Campaign to help find a cure.
To open the show, I performed my original song "Invincible" which I dedicated to all those who have been affected by cancer. This song is now available on iTunes & all proceeds will go towards cancer research <3
This year I had the opportunity to perform at the Lunar New Year Festival/Tet Festival of Southern California. The festival celebrated the "Year of the Snake" and was named the world's largest Tet festival outside of Vietnam!
This audience was one of the biggest I've performed for, as there were about 5,000 in attendance that night and collectively over 100,000 people in attendance throughout the three day festival! My slot to perform was right before the fireworks, and it was definitely a night to remember. I sang my two original songs "Invincible" and "The Afterparty".
The SDSU GreenFest is a HUGE campus-wide event created in order to raise awareness for energy conservation, recycling, and "going green". Every year there is a concert headliner for the GreenFest, and this year it is MACKLEMORE...the artist behind the No.1 song, "Thrift Shop"!
I was chosen by the GreenFest committee to participate in a competition to be the opening act for Macklemore. I sang a few cover songs as well as my single, "The Afterparty". The crowd of college students had a ton of energy, and it was so much fun performing for them!
I recently performed at the AMP Music Festival presented by the Pacific Arts Movement/SD Asian Film Festival. I had a blast on stage performing my original music LIVE for the first time! I also had the pleasure of working with my talented dancers Sean Paredes (Choreographer), Pam Torres, Benjie Perez, and Courtney Delino.
